We don't have to pay attention to every thought we have.

It is important to recognize that our thoughts do not define us.
We have the power to choose which thoughts to give attention to and which ones to let go of. Or as Mel Robbins would say, "Let them and let go!" Her theory is to realize what is and isn't in your control. See that all things are neutral, that we are meaning-making machines. We like to make meaning out of the things that are happening outside of us, when it's all neutral if we truly genuinely zoom out.
When we constantly dwell on negative or unhelpful thoughts, we are essentially reinforcing old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve us. When we complain and blame we stay stuck in the illusion that it's everything outside of us that's creating our misery when it's in our imagination.
Be keen to what thoughts serve you and what thoughts disempower you.
By realizing that we have more power than we realize and shifting our focus to more positive and empowering thoughts, we can begin to break free from the limitations of the past and create a new reality for ourselves. It is a process of intentional consciousness, self-awareness, and mindfulness that allows us to choose the thoughts that will shape our experiences and ultimately our lives. Letting go of the need to control every thought that enters our mind and seeing that we can command our mind to feel how we want can be liberating and transformative, leading us to a place of greater clarity, peace, and fulfillment.
Instead, we can choose to acknowledge our thoughts without getting attached to them.
What negative thoughts and feelings are you having reoccurring that are disrupting your world?
Yes. Thoughts are very powerful and being concious of the information we are taking in is extremely important. Today, I am thinking about the power of a cluttered inbox that feeds reminders of articles, posts, and blogs about topics war are interested in that we are not reading about because they are not part of our current focus.
I believe these produce a drain on our energy and should be purged to assist the greater clarity, peace and fulfillment we deserve and need to be transformed and liberated. However, if you are like me that might be more than an hour or two process. But eating the elephant one bite at a time will help us to whittle down the inboxes by unsubscribing and deleting until the unread inbox says zero and everything is filed away that needs to be saved for future reference or prerhaps sentimental reason. Being careful to not allow with task to overwhelm as we progress steadily to cleaning those attention grabbers can be instigators wf negative thoughts. Let them go, so these to not start the process of subconsiously invoking negative thoughts and feeling free with the positivity that comes from being organized.
