What’s one limiting belief you’re holding onto that might not even be your own? (outdated)

One limiting belief that you may be holding onto, which could potentially not even be your own, is the notion that you are not capable of achieving your goals or dreams.

This belief may have been conditioned and ingrained in you by external sources such as society, family, or past experiences.

You can do the thing only if you have the belief that it can be done.

Things our care takers or people that were in our environment for a period of time that said things over and over and over tend to start to become believable. This phenomenon is known as the "illusory truth effect," where repetition can lead to a false sense of truth. Our brains are wired to believe information that we hear repeatedly, even if it may not be accurate. This is why it is important to critically evaluate the information we are exposed to and not simply accept it as true just because we have heard it multiple times. Having the news on or other things that play on repeat will surely appear to be real.

It's important to recognize that some beliefs may be outdated and no longer serve you in your current circumstances. By challenging and reevaluating these limiting beliefs, you can empower yourself to break free from these constraints and pursue your true potential.

Our brain, if it has adopted a belief, and all a belief is, are thoughts that appear to be real, is to reassure it that the new paradigm is good and make it familiar. Just like how the old belief was conditioned, by repetition and gathering proof that it's real and serves you in some way. This benefits your "mind" as well, for it will resist change and attempt to convince you the old way is safe and good, leaving things as they are.

Growth and progress often come from stepping outside of our comfort zones and embracing new ideas and beliefs.

Your actions are limited by your beliefs. If you don't believe you can, you won't

All this means in other words is being conscious, aware or concentrating through out the day on what thoughts are fueling your actions. The responses I hear from coaching clients is, "that sounds hard". It's going to be hard and difficult if you believe it will be, if you believe it will set you free, feel good, benefit you in many ways and it is important, it will be easy.

Choose you path, stay stuck or be free.

By consciously challenging our wiring and old beliefs and opening our minds to new possibilities, we can create a more fulfilling and enriched life experience. The benefits of personal growth and self-discovery make the execution worthwhile. Have confidence in the process and believe in your capacity to adjust and succeed in times of change.

Remember, you have the power to redefine your beliefs and create a new narrative that aligns with your authentic self. When you see how much power you do have, you'll be unstoppable.
