The Past Can't Change. Your Relationship With It Can.

Much of our suffering comes from arguing with the past instead of seeing it clearly. Peace begins when we stop wishing yesterday had been different.

You can't change what happened.

You also can't heal by arguing with reality.

A lot of suffering comes from comparing the past that happened with the past you wish had happened. The mind keeps replaying old moments, rewriting conversations, and imagining different endings.

The past isn't creating that pain today.

The struggle with the past is.

When thinking settles, people often discover something surprising: peace was never hiding in a different past. It was hiding beneath all the thinking about it.
