Feelings Are Real. They Are Not Always Reality.

Feelings deserve to be acknowledged, though they don't always reflect reality. Understanding the difference can help you respond with greater clarity instead of reacting automatically.

Feelings are part of being human.

They matter. They deserve to be acknowledged.

At the same time, feelings don't always tell us what's happening. They often tell us what's happening in our thinking.

Have you ever noticed how the same situation can feel completely different a day later, after your mind has settled?

The event didn't change.

Your state of mind did.

That doesn't make your feelings wrong. It simply means they aren't always reliable evidence of reality.
