When Repetition Feels Important
Repeated thoughts can feel important simply because they keep returning. Learning to recognize repetition without automatically treating it as meaningful can quiet overthinking and create clearer thinking.

The mind repeats what it thinks matters.
And repetition can make a thought feel more important, more urgent, and more true than it actually is.
That’s how overthinking gets convincing.
A thought showing up for the 20th time isn’t necessarily giving new information. Sometimes it’s simply the same thought showing up for the 20th time.
Repetition isn’t evidence.
