When There’s Nothing to Solve Yet
Uncertainty can make an unanswered question feel like an unfinished problem. This insight helps separate something you can act on now from the discomfort of waiting for information that simply isn’t available yet.

“They said they’d let me know next week, but I can’t stop thinking about whether I got it.”
Notice the problem: there isn’t actually an answer available yet.
You can replay the interview.
Analyze their expressions.
Rewrite your answers.
Check your email again.
None of it gives you access to information you don’t have.
Sometimes the mind isn’t solving a problem.
It’s trying to solve the discomfort of not knowing.
Ask yourself: Is there something I can actually do with the information I have right now?
If yes, do it.
If not, more thinking won’t turn next week’s information into today’s information.
Not knowing can feel unfinished without there being anything left to solve.
