Your Emotions Aren't the Truth
Emotions feel real, though they don't always reflect reality. They often reveal the thoughts you're believing in the moment, not objective truth.

Many of us were taught to trust our feelings as if they were facts.
The problem is that feelings don't tell us what's objectively true. They tell us what our mind is making of the moment.
If you're thinking you're failing, you'll probably feel discouraged.
If you're thinking someone is judging you, you'll probably feel anxious.
If you're thinking you're being ignored, you'll probably feel hurt.
None of those feelings are wrong. They're simply responding to the thoughts you're believing.
The more we understand that relationship between thought and emotion, the less controlled we become by temporary mental stories.
Sometimes the greatest gift isn't changing how you feel.
It's seeing that your feelings don't have to decide what's true.
