Pre-Coaching Form
Your upcoming coaching session works best when you arrive intentional, open-minded, curious, and open-hearted. The short form below will help you focus in on what matters most right now so we can make the best use of our time together.
Coaching is not a place for venting in a way that keeps you in the same story. While your challenges are real, you don’t need to convince me of them. Instead, come prepared to explore possibilities, ask bold questions, and lean toward forward momentum.
Take a few minutes to complete the form before we meet. The more clarity you bring, the more impact we can create.
How to Get the Most From Your Session
1. Come with what's on your mind.
You don't need to have it figured out. Bring a specific situation, a burning question, or simply what's been weighing on you or keeping you up at night. Come willing to be honest, curious, and imperfect.
2. Think about what you want.
Ask yourself these questions:
-
How do I want to feel? (before, during and afterwards, set the intention)
-
Who do I want to be in this session? (maybe curious, open minded, willing, brave...)
-
What would make this session feel meaningful to me?
These give us a direction to explore together.
3. Give yourself a quiet space.
A few minutes before we begin, silence notifications, get comfortable, and give yourself permission to be fully present. Be still.
4. Be honest, even if it's messy.
There is nothing you need to hide or perform. The more honestly you can describe your experience, the easier it becomes to see what's really happening. I actually prefer the messy. That's where we can sort things out together.
5. Stay open.
Some of the biggest insights come from looking at something in a new way. You don't have to agree with everything we discuss. If something doesn't fit, let it go. My hope is that you leave every session with one idea, one insight, or one perspective you'll carry into the next 24 hours and experiment with.
6. Keep the focus on yourself.
We may talk about other people, though our work always comes back to you, your thinking, your choices, and the next step that's available to you.
7. Let the conversation continue.
Real change rarely comes from trying harder. It comes from seeing something differently. Before we end each session, choose one thing you'll take with you into the next 24 hours. Stay curious. Experiment with it. Coaching isn't about having all the answers in one conversation, it's about building momentum, one insight and one action at a time.
